Join the fun!  Taking a class at Quilter’s Attic Sewing Center is a great way to learn new skills and create beautiful projects while enjoying the company of others with similar interests.

We are very proud of the reputation we have earned as having the best teaching staff and classes in the tri-state area.  We offer a wide and diverse selection of classes in our two classrooms and are known for having the largest classroom in the area.

So, check out all our classes to see which ones you would like to take.  For full day classes, we order out for lunch making it an extra special day for you.  So, get registered before the class fills up (Our classes are known to fill quickly.) so you too can join in the fun!  AND, while you are at the shop, ask us about Q.A. Quilter’s College!

Class levels:

  • Beginner – Level 1 and Level 2

These classes are for those that are absolute beginners to those that feel they have missed some basics along the way and wish to hone their skills.  The quilt making process will be covered from start to finish.  Learn rotary cutting, sewing an accurate ¼” seam allowance, piecing skills, putting on borders correctly and how to sandwich the quilt and finish it up.  It is a start to finish project.  These classes are highly recommended to be taken first before attempting other classes on the schedule.

  •  Advanced Beginner

These classes are for students who have completed the beginner classes or are comfortable sewing an accurate 1/4” seam allowance, have learned rotary cutting skills and basic quilt construction including borders, sandwiching and binding. These classes are geared to learning new techniques and tools not to learn the whole quilt making process.

  • Intermediate/Advanced

These classes are for students who are comfortable with the whole quilt making process and eager to learn more advanced techniques.

  • All levels

These classes are for anyone who is comfortable with their sewing machine and rotary cutting skills and wants to learn the project.  Most of these classes are “just for fun” or novelty type projects.

If you have any questions, please let us know and we will guide you in your class selection.  Our goal is for you to be in the right class and to learn and enjoy sewing/quilting in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with great teachers.

We’re looking forward to having you join us for class.
