Class
levels:
- Beginner
– Level 1 and Level 2
These classes are for
those that are absolute beginners to those that feel they have missed some
basics along the way and wish to hone their skills. The quilt making
process will be covered from start to finish. Learn rotary cutting,
sewing an accurate ¼” seam allowance, piecing skills, putting on borders
correctly and how to sandwich the quilt and finish it up. It is a
start to finish project. These classes are highly recommended to be
taken first before attempting other classes on the
schedule.
These classes are for
students who have completed the beginner classes or are comfortable sewing
an accurate 1/4” seam allowance, have learned rotary cutting skills and
basic quilt construction including borders, sandwiching and binding. These
classes are geared to learning new techniques and tools not to learn the
whole quilt making process.
These classes are for
students who are comfortable with the whole quilt making process and eager
to learn more advanced techniques.
These classes are for
anyone who is comfortable with their sewing machine and rotary cutting
skills and wants to learn the project. Most of these classes are “just
for fun” or novelty type projects.
If you have any
questions, please let us know and we will guide you in your class
selection. Our goal is for you to be in the right class and to learn and
enjoy sewing/quilting in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with great
teachers.
We’re looking forward to
having you join us for class.
